Atlantic station light the tree
For the 2021 “Light The Station” parade, the community came together to light Atlantic Station’s 50-foot tree. It was the first lighting of the season. The event featured holiday llamas in the Green and an ice skating performance.
Lotus Performing Arts School dancers added to the entertainment, along with The Marching Abominable marching band and the Atlanta Drum Academy. Santa and his elves had the honor of lighting the tree using a giant light switch.
The parade also showcased colorful floats that wowed the crowd, including a giant champagne glass. This spectacle created a festive and exciting atmosphere for everyone in attendance. The combination of lively performances, unique floats, and the first tree lighting of the season made for a memorable event.
Holiday llamas added a whimsical touch, and the ice skating performance provided entertainment for all ages. The dancers from Lotus Performing Arts School brought elegance and energy to the event.
