Looking for a way to add instant beauty to your event or party? How about our latest creation, this stunning garden arch. This magnificent piece was built by hand, piece by piece from styrofoam, then coated with a flame rated epoxy hardener. The height is adjustable, so this can stand 88’, 92” or 10 feet high.
Once complete, it was painted with a faux stone textured finish.
At 10 feet wide it gives a beautiful arbor impression. We added climbing, rambling and twining flowers this time for a romantic and mysterious feel. Of course, we can add anything your imagination can dream of to complement your event theme. Create any look you want. For example, this arch can lead to a rock garden, fishpond, a southern style gazebo or mansion. Or change it up and make it your event entryway. Whether practical or decorative, this archway is designed to personalize and beautify your event.
The arch took approximately 200 hours to build from start to finish. And now stands proudly as the entryway to Monte Carlo Productions offices. See the images below for start to finish!
Our 5 best Garden Archway ideas:
1. Spotlight a view
Location, location, location! Sight lines matter when placing an archway at your event. This faux stone arch entrance can be placed so that its invitation directs attention to your events’ focal point. We can add metal decorative gates and cover with vibrant flowering vines to define your events’ border and entryway.
2. Gothic Arch
Perhaps you prefer a gloriously Gothic style. The aged, stone texture echoes the shape and details of a doorlike gate. Showcased with spearhead gates against our Gothic castle prop, this beauty boasts plenty of castle mystery. Faux stone posts with finial-style caps combined with a giant dragon and full-size suits of armor create a one-of-a-kind theme that oozes the mystery of a period-past.
3. Wedding Arch
The wedding arbor in many cultures is a symbol of initiation and renewal. Walking through a wedding archway represents moving into a new phase of life. A wedding ceremony arch itself is a symbol of the future home the bride and groom will start their family in. It can radiate the formality of a boxwood garden, or the soft beauty of the English rose. The interconnected pieces stand out from a tall wall of greenery. Or from the curve of colorful blooms. Either way will counterbalance the straight lines of faux clipped boxwoods enclosing the border. Or try faux shaped boxwoods aligned with the bases of the arch to repeat the archway’s rounded contours. A magical effect for a magical day.
4. Flower Arch
Enter here! A floral arch invites visitors to enter and admire what lies beyond. A curving pathway, garden benches, and a garden backdrop provide a serene composition of shapes and texture to your event decor. Roses and white blossoms play up the shape of the arch. Delight your guests further with a mini trellis arbor to serve as a tantalizing tunnel that demands to be explored. Add a picket fence with old-fashioned roses scrambling over to accentuate the border and bring cheery pink blooms to eye level.
5. Garden Arch
A great looking garden arch always makes a bold statement even when it’s not covered in foliage or flowers. Drawing attention to a faux stairway, a broadly arched structure stands ready to support fledgling faux vines that can give the impression of just starting to take hold at its base. The simply striking silhouette of the stone arch offers a pleasing contrast to standard event surroundings.
Create a fetching mood that embraces the magnificence of a colorful, organic garden. With twink lights amid the foliage to ensure your guests safe “after-dark” passage when your party comes to an end!
Stop and smell the roses. Take a magical mystery tour. Because in the end, it’s all about the journey.
